Details: Scottsdale patrol officers responded to the area of Indian School Road and Marshall Way at just after 2:30 AM. An adult male was assaulted with a baseball bat. The suspect went inside a building that is currently under renovation. Once inside, he refused commands to exit the building. SWAT personnel responded. The suspect was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault. The male victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a Scottsdale Police Department Incident Update. The victim had contusions on the left side, contusion on the left elbow and a cut ear, according to court documents.
