Apartment fire reported in the 7900 block of East Princess Drive in Scottsdale, AZ.

[Update] Scottsdale FD officials tell us in an email that at 6:59 PM MST Scottsdale Fire Department responded to a grease fire on a stove which extended to cabinets. The unit was occupied by one female when the fire started. The life safety fire sprinkler system activated and one sprinkler head controlled and extinguished the fire prior to the first fire unit arriving on scene. The resident was treated for minor smoke inhalation. She did not require transportation to a hospital. No other building occupants or apartments were effected by this fire.
