Alley fire reported in the 8400 block of East Mackenzie Drive in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Engine 602 (E602) is responding.
[Update] Small fire. Engine 602 and four police units on scene (Officer Jaecob Hanser Badge #1385). SPD Officer Hanser tells SAN that it was a small brush fire. Some leaves. Probably an electrical fire.
Hanser has been with the police force since November 5, 2012.
The Scottsdale Fire Department did not immediately respond to emails requesting comment.
[Update] Scottsdale FD officials tell us in an email that the alley call was a small fire inside of a phone company box that was extinguished with a hand held extinguisher. The incident was handled by one engine company.
