Working attic fire reported at a house in the 8600 block of East Jackrabbit Road in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding, staged and/or on scene include: E92, E603, E605, P-601, L12, LT602, BC8, BC271, BC601, FI601, SCTP00, SRP000, SWG000 and U29. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander.
[Update] SFD officials tell us in an email that Scottsdale, Tempe, and Phoenix fire departments responded to the reported attic fire at a single family residence. Firefighters evacuated 2 residents and two dogs. Light smoke reported throughout the structure with fire in the attic. FD crews extinguished the fire and checked for further fire damage. Two residents displaced. No injuries reported.
