The Loop 101 finally reopened Saturday morning at 11:55 a.m. after a morning closure that crippled Scottsdale traffic.
The northbound SR 101 was closed at Raintree and southbound was closed at Hayden due to a load of hay that caught fire, according to DPS.
The fire occurred around 4:15 a.m. on the 101 near Bell Road. No injuries were reported.
