Garbage Containers Must Have Lids

The City of Phoenix code (Chapter 27 Solid Waste) requires residents to have lids and covers of solid waste containers (garbage or recycling) secured to prevent rain, insects and blowing of garbage or recyclable materials.........

We don’t own these trash containers, the property owns them, said Waste Management Communications Manager Melissa Quillard. So they would need to request a repair or a replacement.

Quillard says if the customer calls us, we can work it out if it has become unsightly or there are health department issues.
