The Scottsdale Fire Department is investigating after responding to a small attic fire at 2 am Sunday in a 5,273 square foot DC Ranch home in the 18800 block North 97th Place.
Fire officials in Scottsdale are crediting a sprinkler system with containing the attic fire until crews arrived to extinguish it.
No injuries were reported. Property damage is estimated at $1000, officials said in a press release.
